We use phrases like “HNWI” and “Sophisticated Investor” on our website. In order to work together, we require that you are officially self-certified to one of these two titles. If you’re reading that and thinking this isn’t for you, let us bend your ear for a second. It’s really not as scary or daunting as it might sound. Actually, it’s a very simple process, put there for a very good reason.
When opportunities come calling, we want you to know.
Why do I need to be qualified or “sophisticated” to use NurtureTech?
The general consumer needs protection from potentially unscrupulous financial schemes and investments, or investments which may be deemed to be high risk. To fulfil that need for protection, the government has formed a number of regulatory bodies whose sole purpose is to serve as a barrier between the public and bad deals.
Ironically, the same regulators that are there to protect people also prevent them from accessing some of the best investment opportunities.
The only way to gain access to these deals is to set yourself apart from the general public — by declaring yourself a “Sophisticated Investor” or a self-certified “High Net Worth Individual” (HNWI)
What do I need to do to become qualified?
If you’re looking to become a Sophisticated Investor, you are essentially saying that you have an understanding of money in a professional or investment capacity. Simply take a look at the criteria to see if you qualify.
If you’re looking to become a self-certified HNWI, you are essentially saying that your net assets meet a certain threshold and therefore your understanding of money management stems from that. Take a look here to see if you qualify.
Simply e-sign the relevant form here, send it to us with a click, and we’ll take care of the rest.
If you’re in the ballpark of either of these two options, chances are you will probably surprise yourself with how straightforward it is to get certified. Once you are certified, that’s where the fun begins.
What happens once I am qualified?
Once you’ve handled the admin of self-certification, you have officially declared to the regulatory bodies that you know what you’re doing and you should not be treated in the same way as the general public when it comes to investments.
With that out of the way, we are legally allowed to offer you a wealth of investment opportunities that are usually kept behind closed doors.
It’s at this stage we can have a proper chat about what you’d like to aim for, what kinds of businesses you’d like to invest in, and how much you’d like to invest.
